My Trip To Little River Canyon

One day my family decided to go to Little River Canyon a hiking place we always go.While we were there we were hiking down a trail. Then we found this swimming place it looked very fun with three jumping points.The first one was small and easy to jump off.The next one was a little tall and still easy to jump off. The last one was a forty foot tall jump. The platform was slippery and it was hard to jump off.So I decided to jump off the forty foot.When I jumped I did a pencil dive but I started to lean. When I hit the water my legs and my back hit the water first.I came up crying and yelling for my mom I felt like my back was broken.I sat for a little bit then I was back in the water having fun.

I have never been to Little river canyon. I have jumped into a pool and landed on my back. I felt like I had gotten slapped on the back. Were you nervous when you jumped?I would.

Dear Morgan,
Yes I was very nervous.It was very slippery up there and I know how bad it hurts when your back hits the water first.But otherwise I had fun I did not let the pain ruin my day I just got hurt while I was having fun.

I have been to a river where my mom took me kayaking but I fell in the water and cut my back this was two years ago.

I know how you feel. I went tubing before on a river. When I went down a small water fall my tube tipped over. I hit my back and I almost drowned because the current was to strong. But a man helped me and I was okay and I hope you were okay to.
