Hi Charlotte,
Great post ! It is so important to honor the veterans to served and continue to serve to keep is safe. Here in Canada, we also celebrate on November 11. We call it ‘Remembrance Day’.
My dad and two of my uncles fought in WWII. In Calgary, they have a “field of crosses”. They put up a cross for each person from there who died in a war. It is very moving to see it and walk among the crosses. I go to see my Uncle Andrew’s cross. I will put a picture of it on my blog so you can see.
Thank you for posting about this very important day.
